Bud and O’Connell are the two fattest cats I have ever seen. They have been my pets since elementary school. When my mom found them with two other cats in our backyard. At that time they were just tiny little kittens. But 8 years later they grew up(and out) into the biggest cats ever. A few weeks after we attained the kittens. My mom decided to give away two of them. I was sad to see them go. But I was still glad that we had gotten to keep two. At that point I was really into the movie The Mummy. I really was into the main character O’Connell. So I decided to name the cat with white fur and brown spots after him. The other one that has a nice shade of brown fur, Bud. He was always choosing me over any other member in my family. So I thought of him as a buddy.
My mom has always feed them diet cat food. So it makes absolutely no sense why they are so big. Well.. I do feed them cheese every once in a while.
Currently their favorite things to do are lay down on their back and sleep on the couch. Every once in a while they will wrestle, for about 2 minutes, until they are to tired to lift a paw. And roll over and close their eyes.
Bud has always been the favorite of the two. He always runs up the stairs and follows me to my bathroom. At night I get awoken to my door slowly opening and him suddenly jumping onto my bed and scaring the crap out of me. And whenever he sleeps with me I always get awoken in the night by him looking right at me and push my face with his nose. And he doesn’t stop until I pet him.

I love cats! I have a male cat named Medusa, and two other cats, Wolf Man Jack and Fluffer. We used to have ten, but sadly we've found homes and graves for the rest of them.

ReplyDeleteI own two cats as well. Fawkes is a BIG kitty. She isn't fat, but she's big. Eowyn on the other hand is tiny and my little buddy. She follows me everywhere and is on my lap constantly. I hope you get to go home and see them often!
